Join Plenty exhibiting artist Keg de Souza and collaborator Lucien Alperstein for a performative meal as part of their artwork, The only rock we eat.
The only rock we eat takes us around the world through stories of salt as currency, the cause of wars and revolutions, as part of trade routes and urban development and brings us back to Kaurna/Adelaide Plains where local agriculture is struggling with changing salinity conditions, compiled with a drought prone environment. Over shared plates comprised of drought resistant and salt tolerant ingredients, this work invites you to take a seat at the table and join a timely discussion on the future of food production and consumption.
