Setouchi Triennale 2016

In the fishing community of Kou on Teshima Island in the Seto Inland Sea the locals cooked a huge feast for us of local recipes. These recipes will be turned into postcards packaged with local dried food sold through a vending machine, with proceeds going to the Kou people, attempting to create a small micro economy for the locals utilising the many visitors to the island during the Triennale, more on the project soon but here is Satoko-san with her incredible ‘squeezing the miso bag’ technique.
